So we got this email today, consisting of two photos and a rad message. It put a smile on our faces to see new kids getting into surfing and being stoked on what we are doing.
"My son Gavin got this board from one of JP;s students. We were curious if this was one of your old boards. Hmmmmm? Either way we just want to say you two are true heroes in our house. For real. And as a dad I couldn't think of better role models. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon." Yes, this is my old board. It was from a few years ago, I now ride 5'8"s not 5'0"s due the fact that i have grown a wee bit. Stoked that this little buddy Gavin gets to keep the life of this board going strong. These are the kinds of things that make the blog fun!
