The new transworld surf flick is coming out here soon on AUGUST 3RD at the LIDO THEATER in Newport Beach California. Conner and I have the opening part in the movie. Tail. Our definition is not the weird looking, long, skinny, body part of an animal, but instead a good looking young, well actually any aged, HUMAN female. So, since this is the young wise TAILS, we have feel obligated to bring you guys TAIL OF THE WEEK. Each week we will pick a new girl of our choice that we feel is totally awesome (other inappropriate words would have fit here). Bali Livin

I went straight from the Red Bull Minor Threat boat trip to Bali for a few days to hang out and surf with Julian. Fresh off a win from Portugal he was excited to relax for a few days and get some fun waves. We stayed at an INSANE villa and had a few amazing dinners. Julian is hanging for a few more days, but I had to head to the airport today in time to make it home tomorrow for the USA championships at lowers. Jason Kenworthy was on our boat trip and then i tagged along with him to Bali. He took these pictures of the last couple days. check out his site jrkenworthy.com

Fred Rubble Release Party

It's being shaped, logos are designed, laminators are laminating, people are shredding, it's time to make it official. Channel Islands is putting on a Fred Rubble release party this sunday at their Santa Barbara retail store. Wahoo's tacos is catering and word has it there will be a raffle for a new Fred Rubble. Make your way down, enjoy some food, drinks, and have a jolly old time with us! you never know, you might just walk away with a fresh surfboard.... Oh yeah, spread the word to your friends!

Red Bull Minor Threat Mentawaii's-Preview

We went, we got perfect waves, and we got barreled. Here is a sneak peak. I leave you with two frame grabs for now, but promise to upload some more photos and include some details in the near future.

This morning I went straight from the boat to Bali to hang out with Julian Wilson for a few days. Congrats to him for winning the contest in Portugal! He gets here in a day and the waves are going to pump. Should be an awesome week....

Mexico Mission

Well... I'm home again. I went on a fun week long trip with Dusty Payne and Matt Wilkinson last week down to Mexico. We got some fun waves but at this particular beach break it's really hard to be in the right spot. Everybody got a fun few waves while we were down there. Just wanted to thank Little Allen and big Allen for their great hospitality! Yew
